Tool for creating and managing quadrant samples and inventory cruise lines

The GSF Sondage extension is presented as an easily accessible toolbar in ArcMap containing functions for the creation of quadrant samples, inventory cruise lines and configuration. The user can create parcels from various sampling methods that are currently used to produce survey plans in conformity with the requirements of the Quebec Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife during forest intervention inventories.

	The main menu allows the user to specify the sampling method,the geometric parameters in addition to setting the options for the creation of the grids (lines), associated with the quadrant samples. It is possible to establish specific angles for cruise lines by the user in the case of reforestation and fill planting as well as in commercial cutting (perpendicular cruise lines running along side skid roads).

The extension is characterized by a configuration interface that allows choosing and using specific fields depending on your data models.

In private woodlots or for special projects, many processes are available to meet the needs of our users. Also, GSF Sondage can be used for the realization of survey plans of estimated volumes affected by harvesting operations (EVAOR) and unused wood resources inventories (IMLNU) according to Quebec Minister of natural Resources and Wildlife
