Gestion des tables is an extension allowing the verification of database structures (vector layers and descriptive tables) according to predefined user parameters. This ensures the integraty and consistency in the database structure.

Furthermore, the application allows the creation and speedy verification of descriptive tables or template files possessing predefined attributes by simply pressing a button.

These verifications will be made at the field position, name, type, width and decimal levels. The extension will make possible the identification of the field that is not in comformity with the saved structure. This extension is presented in ArcMap as an easily accessible toolbar.

The extension consists of a main interface allwoing the user to verify the structure of the data, in addition to managing the groups and fields by predefining their structure.

It is also possible from this window to create new empty layers selecting already existing structure templates.

The structure verification and group creating (from an already existing layer) functions are also accessible from this window.

The extension can also be configured to be used on a common reference database with multiple computers.
